Quick delivery but Difficult return

I volunteer for the ambulance and my Acoustica stethoscope was stolen from my car. I ordered a replacement, which arrived within a few days but as soon as it arrived I realised I ordered the wrong one. I emailed MDF to ask if I could exchange. As I did not receive a reply on time I decided to make a second purchase to order the one I wanted in the first place. Eventually I received an email asking me why I wanted to exchange/return. I emailed back to explain but I am still waiting to hear back if a return is possible. It’s been more than a month from the first order and 2 weeks since the second order.
